Some stories are simply too important not to tell.
As we begin sharing more of ABCD Concepts’ journey on our website, we’re looking back at some of the milestones that have shaped who we are today. One of those defining moments was our 10th anniversary celebration in 2025, when we chose to celebrate a decade of impact by investing in the next generation.
Rather than hosting a traditional anniversary celebration, we asked ourselves a simple question:
How can we celebrate our journey while creating opportunities for others?
The answer was the Youth Travel & Tech Summit.
Celebrating a Decade with Purpose
Over the past decade, ABCD Concepts has grown from a community-based initiative into an organisation committed to creating authentic tourism experiences, supporting local entrepreneurs, and connecting visitors with the people and stories that make our communities unique.
For us, reaching ten years wasn’t just about reflecting on what had been achieved—it was about looking ahead.
We recognised that tourism is changing rapidly. Technology continues to reshape how people travel, learn, work, and connect. Young people will ultimately lead this transformation, and we wanted our milestone celebration to contribute to their future.
Instead of celebrating ourselves, we chose to celebrate possibility.
Why a Youth Travel & Tech Summit?
The Youth Travel & Tech Summit was created to explore the exciting intersection between tourism, technology, entrepreneurship, and youth development.
Our objective was simple: bring together young people, entrepreneurs, creatives, and industry leaders to exchange ideas, inspire innovation, and encourage young people to see themselves as future leaders within the tourism industry.
The summit created a platform where participants could explore:
- How technology is transforming tourism and hospitality.
- The importance of digital skills in today’s economy.
- Entrepreneurship and innovation within local communities.
- Storytelling and content creation as powerful tourism tools.
- New career opportunities emerging within the visitor economy.
More importantly, it gave young people permission to dream bigger.

Throughout the summit, participants engaged in meaningful discussions with tourism professionals, entrepreneurs, innovators, and community leaders who openly shared their journeys, challenges, and lessons learned.

Looking back, the Youth Travel & Tech Summit represented much more than a ten-year celebration.
