ABCD Concepts is co-founded and co-managed by Buntu Matole and Ayanda Cuba.
Buntu Matole
Buntu Matole was born in Gauteng and raised in Khayelitsha, Cape Town. Through his love for sports he has travelled to most parts of South Africa. He has been passionate about entrepreneurship since he matriculated in 2007 and went straight into the field after school to gain as much experience as he could.
In 2014, he was selected to take up a course at the prestigious Raymond Ackerman Academy for Entrepreneurial Development. When not at the office, you’ll find Buntu on the basketball court with his teammates, or out on his early morning jogs, where he thinks about the various things he can do to help his community.
Thapelo Mxuma
Thapelo Mxuma was born in the Eastern Cape and later moved to the Western Cape, where he completed his studies in Cape Town. He studied Travel and Tourism at the College of Cape Town, and it was during this time that he developed a deep love for tourism and a strong appreciation for the role it plays in uplifting communities. Through his studies and exposure to the industry, Thapelo discovered a passion for showcasing local stories, culture, and experiences.
Driven by a desire to give back, Thapelo is deeply connected to his community and is committed to using tourism as a tool for development and empowerment.
